Crooked Highways is an independent entertainment company developing and producing documentary, scripted, and live-event projects, with offices in Los Angeles and Mexico City. Founded by Ryan Gall, Olga Segura, and David Darg, the company creates stories and experiences that connect culture, music, and global perspectives.
Collectively, the team's work includes co-founding the Global Citizen Festival and platform, and producing its events and broadcasts across New York, Mumbai, Paris, London, and Johannesburg, featuring Beyoncé, Paul McCartney, and Coldplay. Their credits also include the Academy Award-nominated Body Team 12, You Cannot Kill David Arquette (Hulu), The Truth About Emanuel (Sundance), The Dinner (Berlin), Waiting for the Barbarians (Venice), Mission: Joy (Netflix), ACTIVATE (National Geographic), and One World: Together at Home (NBC/ABC/CBS), produced with Lady Gaga.
Current projects include Verano, a feature film directed by Sundance Labs alum Leo Aguirre, set for release in 2027; Killing of a Nation, a Haitian political thriller directed by Academy Award nominee Carlos Bolado; a feature documentary on three-time Latin Grammy winner Carla Morrison; Park Sessions, now in its second season on Outside TV; and McNeal, the Mexican production of the Lincoln Center Theater play by Pulitzer Prize winner Ayad Akhtar.
Crooked Highways is also home to Highways Lab, a creative incubator and film fund supporting filmmakers through mentorship, grants, financing, and industry access.
